Medford resident named a National Lacrosse All-Star

Olivia Bergenholtz, an eighth grader at Medford Memorial Middle School, has been named as a 2018 Maverik National Lacrosse All-Star to represent team New Jersey.

Olivia Bergenholtz, an eighth grader at Medford Memorial Middle School, has been named as a 2018 Maverik National Lacrosse All-Star to represent team New Jersey. She has been selected to attend the Maverik National Lacrosse Academy and National Lacrosse Classic to be held July 16–19 in Frederica, Del. at the DE Turf Sports Complex. Olivia currently plays for the All American AIM Lacrosse team coached by 2017 South Jersey Coach of the year, Katie Lee.

The Maverik National Lacrosse Academy brings the top youth lacrosse players in the United States and Canada to one venue, where regional teams, coached by NCAA lacrosse coaches, compete to become the 2018 National Champion.

The Maverik National Lacrosse Academy is the first of its kind lacrosse experience created to provide a curriculum focused on how a young lacrosse athlete should develop in order to compete at a top high school and collegiate lacrosse program.
