Cinnaminson Township has begun its search for a new administrator after reaching a settlement with Michael King, the township’s former administrator and director of public safety, last month. Township Committee appointed Chief Financial Officer Julia Edmondson as acting administrator May 21.

Cinnaminson Township, with a township committee form of government, a population of 15,000 and an annual budget of $15 million, seeks a motivated professional to oversee the daily operations of the township. Position is a fulltime, appointed position that reports to the governing body. Applicants should have prior experience and education in governmental operations, public or business administration, human resources or a closely related field. Candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills, highly proficient computer skills (experience with Edmunds a plus), as well as the ability to manage multiple assignments on a daily basis. Candidates should have sufficient background in Civil Service Commission rules and regulations as they relate to various personnel matters. Responsibilities include but are not limited to budget, purchasing, land use administration, COAH, project management, labor negotiations, personnel, insurance, payroll oversight, strategic planning (as it relates to management) and any additional duties assigned by the Township Committee. Must attend public meetings. Preferred experience in community and economic development or related management. Bachelor’s Degree required, MPA or MBA preferred. Salary DOQ. EOE.
