Burlington Township police hosting bike safety course

The event will also allow residents to register their bicycles with the department

The following information was released by the Burlington Township Police Department:

The Bicycle Patrol Unit of the Burlington Township Police Department is hosting a Bicycle Safety Course and Registration Event on May 19 and June 2. The Bicycle Unit will be teaching children about the importance of bicycle safety. Residents will also be able to conveniently register their bicycles during these times. There will be several locations where the event will be held throughout Burlington Township. Below is a list of locations for the respective dates:

May 19, 2018

10:00 am — 11:00 am at Jennifer Lane Park

11:00 am — 12:00 pm at Linden Road Park

12:00 pm — 1:00 pm at Beverly Road Firehouse

2:00 pm — 3:00 pm at Alston Cook Park (Tanner Avenue)

3:00 pm — 4:00 pm at Walnut Drive Park

4:00 pm — 5:00 pm at Autumn Lane Cul-de-Sac

June 2, 2018

10:00 am — 11:00 am at Mangum Park (LaGorce Square)

11:00 am — 12:00 pm at Arrowhead Drive Park

12:00 pm — 1:00 pm at Steeple Chase Park (Tennis Courts on Bustleton)

2:00 pm — 3:00 pm at Green Acres II Park

3:00 pm — 4:00 pm at Ridgewood Way (Lindsley Court)

4:00 pm — 5:00 pm at Skimmer Adams Field

These dates and times may be contingent on the weather. If there are any cancellations, the police department will post a notice ahead of time.
