Moorestown Lions hit the green to raise some green for the blind

The Moorestown Lions’ Edward Winkler Memorial Golf Outing will take place on Monday, May 14.

Make your plans to register for the Moorestown Lions’ Edward Winkler Memorial Golf Outing set for Monday, May 14 at Indian Spring Country Club on Elmwood Road in Marlton.

The cost is $150 per player which includes golf cart, lunch and dinner. Prizes will be awarded for closest to the pin, longest drive, putting and team low score. There is a $5,000 prize hole-in-one contest.

Registration starts at 11 a.m. with lunch at 11:30 a.m. and shotgun start at 1 p.m.

The total proceeds are devoted to Lions projects benefiting the vision and hearing impaired, locally, nationally and international. Additional Lions beneficiaries include local food banks, scholarships for local students, local food banks, local charitable organizations and state and area summer camp programs for visually impaired children and adults.
