Lady Liberty 4th of July Parade Contest is open

Those interested in entering the contest must enter by May 31.

The Moorestown 4th of July Parade Committee is sponsoring the “Lady Liberty 4th of July Parade 2018 Poster Contest” for elementary students. Children residing in Moorestown or attending a school in Moorestown are eligible to enter. They must be between the ages of 5 and 9 years to participate.

The contest begins May 1and ends on May 31.

How to Enter:

1. Submit your completed entry form signed by the entrant and his/her parent or guardian.

2. Submit your original art work expressing your idea/ideas of Lady Liberty.

3. Print your name, address, telephone number on the back of the entry form.

4. Official forms may be obtained and printed from the Moorestown 4th of July Parade website at moorestown4thjuly.org.

Entries must be postmarked by May 31 and mailed to Moorestown 4th of July Parade Committee at: 132 Harding Avenue, Moorestown, NJ, 08057, or delivered in person to the Moorestown Library.

Each child may submit only one entry. This entry represents and warrants his/her work is 100 percent the original art work of the entrant produced for this contest. All entries are subject to verification and become the property of the 4th of July Parade Committee, and none will be returned or acknowledged.

Entries will be displayed in the Library and in stores along the parade route of Chester and Main Streets.

All entries will be judged by persons appointed by the 4th of July Parade Committee. All decisions made by the judges are final. Winners will receive certificates of recognition and be honored by riding as special guests in the parade.
