Residents can join the West Jersey Chamber Music Society for a rare opportunity to hear several rousing settings of the beautiful magnificat on June 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary of the First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown.
The world-class, professional musicians of the West Jersey Chamber Symphony and the West Jersey Chamber Chorale will perform settings of one of the most admired sacred texts including: Bach, Schubert, Pachelbel, Pergolesi and Lietz.
Using the full range of the Baroque chamber orchestra — strings, oboes, bassoon, flutes, high trumpets, tympani and organ, the rousing performance of Bach’s version truly will brings the spiritual realm closer to earth.
