Snowstorm kicks off spring in Cinnaminson; man charged with multiple residential burglaries

Maria Montes, 11, and Denean Montes, both of Pennsauken Township, slide down a hill Thursday at Cinnaminson Memorial Park. A winter storm earlier in the week dumped inches of snow on the township.

Cinnaminson’s first few days of spring were dominated by a storm that covered the township in snow. In other news, a Woodbury man was arrested and charged with multiple burglaries and the American Red Cross is hosting a blood drive on Thursday

Snowy start to spring

A winter storm dropped significant snow totals on the region on Tuesday and Wednesday. Cinnaminson Public Schools were closed Wednesday and delayed Thursday. The Cinnaminson Municipal Building and Burlington County libraries were also impacted by the weather conditions.

Man charged with burglaries

A 28-year-old man from Woodbury has been charged with multiple residential burglaries in multiple jurisdictions, including Cinnaminson Township. On March 19, the suspect was arrested after a joint investigation involving the Delran, Mt. Laurel, Moorestown and Cinnaminson police departments in connection with multiple residential burglaries.

Blood drive

Recent severe weather has hampered blood donations, according to the American Red Cross. The organization is hosting a blood drive Thursday at the Cinnaminson Community Center.
