First United Methodist bringing harmonies to Palm Sunday

A Palm Sunday concert will take place on Sunday, March 25 at First United Methodist Church.

Adult Choir and Friends will present John Rutter’s “Requiem” as part of the First United Methodist Church’s Palm Sunday Concert on Sunday, March 25 at 7 p.m.

“Requiem” is a contemporary piece with harmonies and a musical setting of parts of the Latin Requiem with added psalms and biblical verses in English. Rutter weaves his music with harmonies and text that leads one through a time of eternal promise.

The church is located at the corner of Camden and Pleasant Valley Avenues, and its facilities meet the standards set by the American Disabilities Act for general access.

Admission is free, the public is welcome, and a free-will offering will be taken. Child care will be provided.
