The CHYC Galaxy finished in first place in the Junior Rec Large Level 2 division at the Reach the Beach Rec/School Nationals.
The Cherry Hill Youth Cheerleading Galaxy enjoyed a successful trip to Ocean City, Md., where they competed in Reach the Beach Rec/School Nationals on Saturday, Feb. 24 and Sunday, Feb. 25.

The team took home the top prize in the Junior Rec Large Level 2 division. Besides the first-place surfboard, each of the team members also received a championship jacket.
Two of the organization’s other teams also competed. The Odyssey placed second in the Junior Rec Large Level 1 division while the recently formed youth squad placed fourth in the Youth Rec Level 1 group.
