Tristan Street of Marlton was selected through his work at South Jersey Innovation Center.
South Jersey Innovation Center has recognized three of its students who have been selected for internships in 3D design and animation — Derrin Lerner of Cherry Hill, Tristan Street of Marlton and Bennett Kutikov of Voorhees.
Each student took part in a company-sponsored contest where they were provided an outlined task, and they submitted their own 3D designs using the skills learned and coaching available at SJIC.
The NOW! Financial Network in Cherry Hill and Mount Laurel approached SJIC with the opportunity for students to use their love of video in a thriving business environment and tasked them with bringing a 2D illustration to life.
Their winning submissions earned them the ability to continue the internship and bring the real-world project to completion.
Tristan enjoys the creativity of 3D design and animation. A student for more than a year, he jumped at the chance over the holidays to submit his work for the DAI DIGIT Animation Challenge.
Tristan’s winning 3D DIGIT earned him an intern opportunity where he will evolve his design for varied practical applications. Tristan currently attends Marlton Middle School.
