Doris Ruth Schlegel (nee Moyer) passed away on Jan. 23 at the age 93 of Moorestown.
Doris worked as a crossing guard for Lenola School and in the cafeteria of the Moorestown High School for many years. During World War II, she worked the assembly line for RCA in Camden.
Doris was the wife of the late Ernest; mother of Ernest Schlegel and his wife Denise Predeceased by her daughter Sally Ann; grandmother of Erica Lynn Romanos and Laura Kathryn Stephenson and great-grandmother of Georgie Romanos and Danielle Stephenson.
A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Lewis Funeral Home at 78 E. Main St. in Moorestown. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will be Private.
