Washington Township police collect donations for needy in ‘Underwear Palooza’ drive

In partnership with The Unforgotten Haven, winter hats, gloves and undergarments will be distributed to those less fortunate

The Washington Township Police Department and local PBA will be collecting donations for the homeless, needy and less fortunate in partnership with The Unforgotten Haven’s Underwear Palooza Drive.

Winter hats, winter gloves and undergarments for men, women, boys and girls of all sizes and types will be accepted to assist the Blackwood non-profit organization, whose mission is to help the less fortunate. The Unforgotten Haven helps to feed the homeless, assist victims in house fires, collect supplies for veterans and much more by working in partnership with community organizations.

Drop-off locations will be located at the Washington Township Police Department, as well as the Washington Township Municipal Building through Feb. 2.
