Mt. Laurel Library to host event comparing Colonial and Victorian Christmas customs on Dec. 21

With historian Judith Krall-Russo, residents can learn the similarities and differences between celebrations in the two eras.

The Mt. Laurel Library will host an event on Dec. 21 that explores the similarities or differences between Colonial and Victorian Christmas customs.

Decorations of holly and mistletoe, gingerbread and caroling are just a few of the Christmas customs that have been handed down from earlier times. With Judith Krall-Russo, food historian, residents can learn the similarities and differences between Colonial and Victorian Christmas celebrations.

No registration is required to attend this event.

This event is for scheduled for adults and will begin at 1 p.m. on Dec. 21 at the Mt. Laurel Library in Meeting Room No. 2.
