Police say the subject was located by officers and taken into protective custody without incident.

At approximately 1 p.m. on Dec. 5, Evesham Police say the department received a report of a suicidal male armed with a handgun in the woods behind the Barton Run Development.
According to police, a large police perimeter was established along with precautionary measures to protect surrounding residents.
Police say the subject was eventually located by officers and taken into protective custody without incident.
According to police, the subject was then taken to a crisis center for assistance.
