Indian Mills Volunteer Fire Company and Shamong EMS Offer Life-saving CPR Course
80% of cardiac arrests happen in the home and though we get there as fast as we can, the sooner CPR is started the better the chances are for an improved outcome.
This program will cover adult, child & pediatric CPR, including AED use, rescue breathing and what to do when someone is choking.
This course is being offered free of charge to our residents to learn the skills needed in a cardiac or choking emergency, though donations are appreciated.
If you want to obtain a course completion card along with the skill there will be a charge. We have to pay the AHA for them. Please see the information on our web site for details.
In order to maintain a good student to instructor ratio space is limited.
The course will be held at the Shamong EMS squad building, 48 Willow Grove Road, Shamong on Saturday Dec. 16th from 9 a.m. to noon.
