Members of Philly POPS BIG Band to perform benefit concert at Burlington County Library on Dec. 9

All proceeds from the event will be used to help fund library improvements.

The Burlington County Library System Foundation is pleased to host The Philly POPS Swings Christmas concert featuring a selection of holiday favorites performed live in the Burlington County Library Auditorium on Dec. 9 at 7 p.m.

Officials with the library describe this event as a wonderful opportunity to sit back, relax, and enjoy the sounds of the season led by POPS principal trumpet Matt Gallagher and performed by Philly POPS BIG Band members — all while supporting the county library.

The BCLS Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and all proceeds from the event will be used to help fund library improvements.

General admission tickets cost $50 each and are available now.

“We’re thrilled to welcome the Philly POPS to the library stage,” BCLS Foundation president Jessica Siragusa said. “This is a great opportunity to enjoy a delightful array of holiday tunes performed by world-class musicians right here in Burlington County. At the same time, your attendance will help ensure that our libraries continue to deliver the highest level of service to our communities.”

The Dec. 9 Philly POPS Swings Christmas concert will be presented in the 250-seat auditorium inside the Burlington County Library on Woodlane Road in Westampton.
