Kids can also color holiday pictures and enjoy free hot chocolate and cookies, while they wait for Santa Claus to arrive.
With another Thanksgiving come and gone, the residents of Evesham can now turn their attention to having fun in town for the upcoming winter holidays.
First and foremost, Santa Claus is scheduled to make his annual appearance at the Main Street Firehouse on Dec. 1 from 5 to 8 p.m.
The annual event gives families and children a chance to color holiday pictures, enjoy free hot chocolate and cookies, and pack the firehouse until Santa arrives on a fire truck and descends down a fire pole.
Once Santa has arrived, kids are invited to sit down with him and have their picture taken for free.
This event is once again being held in collaboration between the township, the Evesham Celebrations Foundation and Evesham Fire-Rescue.
“It brings lots of holiday cheer. It’s fun for the children to see Santa and get free pictures, there’s free hot chocolate and cookies, and it’s a great way to get into the holiday spirit,” said Allison Bittner with the township’s public affairs and senior services department.
