A dozen Cherokee High School students have been selected for to perform in a TCNJ Honors Wind Ensemble performance on Nov. 12.
These student musicians will perform wind band repertoire along with other student musicians from across New Jersey.
The performance will take place on Saturday, Nov. 12, at 8 p.m. in the Kendall Mainstage Theatre on the campus of The College of New Jersey.
The event will feature twelve of the top musicians from the Cherokee High School Wind Ensemble performing as members of the TCNJ Honors Wind Ensemble.
Students will perform Under the baton of maestro Joshua Roach.
The student musicians from Cherokee High School were nominated by their Wind Ensemble Conductor, D. Michael Lynch.
Cherokee student’s names and instrument include:

· Alexis Cherby — bassoon and bass clarinet
· Alex Kaup — Bb clarinet
· Monica Morrissey — Bb clarinet
· Jessie Gage — bass clarinet
· Bailey Trace — contra bass clarinet
· Matt Goffin — alto sax
· Tae Kim — tenor sax
· Noelle Warchol — French horn
· Gillian McGovern — trumpet
