A curfew of 8 p.m. for persons 17 years of age and under will be in effect on Oct. 30. On Oct. 31, trick-or-treating hours are 3 to 8 p.m.
Evesham Township Council has designated this year’s hours for trick-or-treating in the township on Oct. 31 for Halloween afternoon and night.
Council has set forth the hours of 3 to 8 p.m. for trick-or-treating on Oct. 31, and council asks that residents who wish to participate in the celebration turn on their porch lights.
In addition, in the best interest of the public and to deter vandalism to property in Evesham Township, council also designated hours for a curfew for Oct. 30 (Mischief Night).
On that day, a curfew of 8 p.m. for persons 17 years of age and under will be in effect and strictly enforced by the Evesham Township Police Department until 6 a.m. on Oct. 31, in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 63 of the Code of the Township of Evesham.
