Letter to the Editor: Deputy Mayor Jason Ravitz supports Mignogna and Platt for reelection

“Mike and Harry have made public safety a top priority.”

By: Deputy Mayor Jason Ravitz

As Deputy Mayor of Voorhees Township, I am pleased to endorse and support my good friends and colleagues, Michael Mignogna and Harry Platt for Voorhees Township Committee. Along with fellow Committeewoman Michelle Nocito and me, Mike and Harry have made a difference for Voorhees residents now and into the future.

Mike and Harry have made public safety a top priority for all Voorhees residents. We voted to protect our most valuable asset, our children, by putting a police officer in every school. We have also equipped every Voorhees Police Officer with a body camera for the protection of our residents and our officers. We have support Voorhees youth sports and recreation, including the installation of new turf fields at the Maiaroto Sports Complex. We also merged the former Voorhees Fire District into a municipal fire department, avoiding a 5 percent budget increase and making sure our residents have the best quality fire and emergency services possible.

I ask all of you to join me in voting for Mike and Harry for Voorhees Township Committee either by mail or at the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 7. We are your team on Voorhees Township Committee. Together, with Mike and Harry, we have and will continue to make a positive difference for all Voorhees residents and their families.
