One person transported to hospital after overnight apartment fire in Cherry Hill

A fire broke out at the Colonial Apartments on Cooper Landing Road on Monday night.

One person was injured and several residences damaged after a fire broke out at the Colonial Apartments on Cooper Landing Road Monday night.

According to the Cherry Hill Fire Department, a fire broke out on the fifth floor of one of the apartment buildings. The fire was brought under control at approximately 12:29 a.m. on Tuesday morning. All Cherry Hill Fire Department units and units from surrounding municipalities responded to the scene.

One person inside was injured and transported to a local hospital. No firefighters were injured in the blaze.
