On May 9, 2018, several officers from the Moorestown Police Department including, Sgt. Rick Gunning, Ptl. Jason Witkowski, Ptl. Frank Gregorio, Ptl. Mike Rienstra, & Ptl. George Hubel will be participating in the four day, 300 mile ride, which ends in Washington D.C.

In order for the officers to participate, they must raise $1,950 each, and the officers are doing the fundraising and ride on their own time without pay. There are two beef and beer fundraisers the officers are organizing with the first being held at The Merion on Nov. 17 and the second at the Lenola Fire Hall on March 17.

The ride and memorial is dedicated to the men and women of law enforcement who have died in the line of duty. The team is also riding in the memory of two fallen Moorestown police officers, Sgt. Francis X. Fullerton and Ptl. George C. Ayers.

For additional information or to make a contribution to support the officers , contact J. Rulli [email protected] or G. Hubel[email protected].
