Members of the Medford Sunrise Rotary recently prepared and served dinner to families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Camden. The rotary serves dinner at the house a few times every year.

The Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey provides a home-away-from-home to families of seriously ill and traumatically injured children who are being treated at area hospitals. They also provide “family rooms” within some pediatric units of hospitals in South Jersey, so parents can be as near as the next room to their hospitalized children.

Families staying at a Ronald McDonald House are welcome to stay for the duration of their child’s hospitalization or treatment. Volunteer groups provide dinner for the families each evening, and breakfast, too, on weekends.
