The Perkins Center for the Arts in Moorestown received a grant in the second round of Horizon Foundation awards forĀ 2017.
The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey awarded $924,000 in a second round of grants to 21 non-profit organizations for health and cultural programs. To date, The Foundationāāāwhich is the philanthropic arm of Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey (Horizon BCBSNJ)āāāhas awarded 40 grants in 2017, totaling over $1.6Ā million.
The Perkins Center for the Arts in Moorestown received a grant in the second round of awards for 2017. Perkins received a $20,000 general operating support grant to fund a free concert series, which will assist the centerās efforts to eliminate financial barriers to the arts in South Jersey. Concerts will range in theme and will highlight the connection between teaching and performance.
