The class focused on the body, mind, stage theater connection
Washington Township High School students in Abby Molotsky’s Exploring the Theater class started their Wednesday with a productive yoga class.
The group welcomed physical therapist, dance teacher and yoga instructor Marjie Major to the stage in the Investors Bank Performing Arts Center where she led them in a yoga class, focusing on the body, mind, stage theater connection.
Major discussed why yoga is a great way to warm up the muscles and focus the mind before a stage performance or an audition.
“It was a great learning experience for my students and a great way to begin the day,” Molotsky said.
