Labor Day will be celebrated across the U.S. today and a number of business and offices will be closed as a result. Not sure what places are open and closed today? Here’s a short list:
Post offices: All post offices are closed in observance of Labor Day. There is mail delivery today.
Township offices: The Cherry Hill Township Municipal Building is closed today. It will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Cherry Hill Public Library: The library is closed today and will re-open at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
Cherry Hill Public Schools: All schools are closed to both students and teachers today. All students will report back to school for the first day of classes on Tuesday. It will be a half day for elementary school students and a full day for the middle and high schools.
Katz JCC: JCC offices and the early childhood center are closed. Health and wellness at the Katz JCC will be open from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. The JCC Summer Swim Club will be open from noon to 6 p.m.
Banks: Many banks, including PNC Bank, Bank of America, Wells Fargo Bank, and TD Bank are closed on Labor Day.
