For some religious leaders, the path into the ministry may be something they’ve considered since day one. For others, they always wanted to help others and figured being a pastor or reverend would be the best way. Pastor William Waltz, motivational leader of Cinnaminson Baptist Church, received his call as a foreign exchange student in New Zealand. Following his return home, the 17-year-old Waltz concluded his high school career and chose Philadelphia Biblical University as his plans after graduation. Waltz chose social work as a major because he wanted to help others and impact their lives, like Christ did with his.
Commercial LLC request for cash bond waiver approved at Aug. 21 Committee Meeting
Redevelopment plans at the Colonial Square Shopping Center off Route 130 in Cinnaminson are moving forward following the Aug. 21 committee meeting. The township’s committee approved a request made by Delco Construction LLC for a waiver of a 10 percent cash bond. The total amount of that cash bond ranges between $100,000-$110,000 and was approved by the members of the committee. “Delco Construction submitted a report to the committee for the waiver of this bond,” Mayor Anthony Minniti said. “This is only the cash portion that will be waived.”
Three Arrested, $450k Seized, as Money Laundering Operation Taken Down
Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Cinnaminson Township Public Safety Director Michael P. King announced that a nine-month investigation into a money laundering operation has resulted in three arrests and the seizure of approximately $450,000 in cash and deposited funds, along with nine vehicles, three motorcycles and a collection of 30 high-end watches. The investigation began in November 2016, when officers from the Cinnaminson Township Police Department suspected an illegal check cashing operation was being run out of a business located at 803 South Route 130 known as MAIA Consulting.
Knit One, Crochet Two at Cinnaminson Public Library on Sept. 21
Welcome to Cinnaminson Library’s social knitting and crocheting club, which will kickoff at 7 p.m on Sept. 21. This is your place to gather with others who enjoy doing yarn work in a social setting. There will be no formal instruction, but attendees are more than welcome to help each other learn new techniques. Attendees are asked to bring their own projects and materials.
