The bags, filled with candies, were decorated by the artists at the township’s Triple A Summer Camp.
On Aug. 21 the Evesham Youth Advisory Committee (YAC), thanked the township’s first responders by delivering bags filled with goodies and other treats.
According to the township, the bags were decorated by the artists at the township’s Triple A Summer Camp.
YAC members delivered bags to both the Evesham Fire-Rescue and Evesham Township Police (NJ).
Candies and treats included in the bags also had extra meanings to play off the names of the sweets.
Just some candies included Lifesavers to remind first responders of the many lives they have saved, Starbust candies for the burst of energy first responders need, gum to help first responders stick together, Tootsie Rolls to help first responders roll with the punches, Mounds for the mounds of courages first responders showcase on a daily basis and more.
