Some neighborhoods in Cherry Hill Township will be sprayed for mosquitos overnight.
The Camden County Mosquito Commission will be spraying for mosquitos on Thursday morning between 2 and 6 a.m. The commission schedules spraying on an as-needed basis based upon the results of its surveillance efforts and input from the public.
“As storms and pop-up showers become more frequent in the late months of summer, homeowners must pay especially close attention to where water might gather on their property,” said Camden County Freeholder Jeff Nash, liaison to the Camden County Mosquito Commission. “Mosquitos need standing water to breed, so after any rain you can help keep them from your property by removing any standing water that may be left in places like flower pots and containers. This helps us reduce the pest population in your neighborhood, and it assists the efforts of the Camden County Mosquito Control Commission.”

The sprayings take place when the mosquitoes are most active.”
The mosquito spray is not harmful to humans or pets, but residents should avoid direct contact if they have respiratory concerns or are sensitive to irritants.
