Moorestown resident Jude Del Preore, trial court adminstrator for the Burlington Vicinage, has earned national esteem.
Jude Del Preore, trial court administrator for the Burlington Vicinage, received the 2017 Award of Merit from the National Association for Court Management (NACM) at the organization’s annual conference in Washington, D.C. on July 11. Del Preore resides in Moorestown with his wife Penny.
NACM’s most prestigious individual award is presented annually to recognize distinguished service and outstanding contributions to the profession of court administration. Award recipients demonstrate leadership and excellence in the advancement of the ideals and principles of modern judicial management and professional court administration.
“We are happy that this national organization has recognized Mr. Del Preore for his outstanding service, which is appreciated not only in Burlington County but throughout New Jersey,” said Burlington Assignment Judge Ronald E. Bookbinder.
Del Preore began his judiciary career in 1974 in the probation division of the Essex Vicinage and has held executive level positions in both court administration and probation services. From 1997 to 2004, he served as the trial court administrator for the Mercer Vicinage. He has served as the Burlington Vicinage trial court administrator since 2004.
NACM is the largest organization of court management professionals in the world, with more than 1,700 members. The association is dedicated to providing court management professionals the opportunity to increase their proficiency while working with colleagues to improve the administration of justice.
Del Preore is a fellow of the National Center for State Courts Institute for Court Management and received the Fellows Star Award in 2014. In 2011, he was inducted into the Warren E. Burger Society of the National Center for State Courts, which honors individuals who have demonstrated exemplary commitment to improving the administration of justice through their contributions of service to the National Center.
