Beatrice “Bea” Kirk (nee Duncan)of Ocean City passed away on Wednesday, June 28 at the age 85. Beatrice was a former longtime resident of Haddonfield. She was the beloved wife of Alan T. Kirk, Jr. of Ocean City; loving mother of Robert D. (Lisa) of Gibbsboro, Wendy K. (John) Nichols of Maurice River Twp., Thomas W. (Susie) of Haddonfield and the late Jeffrey A. Beatrice was also the cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Christy, Ryan, Justin, Caroline, Colin, Lydia, Ali, Kylie and Rees and devoted great grandmother of Paisley, Holden and T.J.
Beatrice was a lifetime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Haddonfield. She was also actively involved with Philanthropic Educational Organization (PEO) and the Haddonfield Garden Club.
Bea’s family received friends on Wednesday, July 5 from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. in the Sanctuary of the First Presbyterian Church of Haddonfield where her Memorial Service followed at 11 a.m. Interment was at West Laurel Hill Cemetery in Bala Cynwyd, Pen. at 1 p.m.
