Phyllis (nee Claypool) Howery, passed away on June 23 at the age of 93. Howery was a resident at Cadbury in Cherry Hill and was formerly a resident of Moorestown. Phyllis was retired from the Camden City Schools where she had worked for many years as a teacher. She is a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and Pi Lambda Theta. Phyllis was a lifelong member of the Girls Scouts of Camden County servicing in many capacities over the years, she also was a former member of the Knights of Columbus Council №15658 ladies auxiliary. Wife of the late Richard. mother of Cat, Tricia, Zoe and Rebecca. She is also survived by her sister Jeanne and her four grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial was held last Thursday at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Moorestown. Interment was at Locustwood Memorial Park in Cherry Hill. Condolences may be left at www.lewisfuneralhomemoorestown.com
