‘Newtown’ documentary to be screened at Inkwood Books

MOMS Demand Action for Gun Sense in America are encouraging those interested in the documentary to join them for a visit to the “Memorial to the Lost” and the screening at Inkwood.

“Newtown” is a documentary about the tragedy which took place at Sandy Hook Elementary school and the aftermath in the Connecticut town of Newtown. It will be shown on Monday, June 26 at 7 p.m. at Inkwood Books, on Kings Highway East.

Representatives from MOMS Demand Action for Gun Sense in America will be meeting before the showing at 6:30 p.m. at Friends Cemetery, close to Kings Highway and Haddon Ave., to visit the “Memorial to the Lost” display.

“Memorial to the Lost” is a display of t-shirts representing those killed by gun violence in Camden and Burlington County. The display will be there until the end of the month. At 6:45 p.m., the group will then walk the few blocks to Inkwood Books where the documentary will be shown.
