Fleisher, Jacobs, Roskoph, Doshi victorious in Cherry Hill Council Democratic Primary

The four Cherry Hill Democratic Committee candidates defeated the Progressive Democrats for Cherry Hill candidates Joshua Hare, Patricia Magnus, Mark Gulbranson and Scott Soffen.

Three incumbents and one newcomer running under the Cherry Hill Democratic Committee ticket were victorious in a contested Cherry Hill Township Council Democratic primary election on Tuesday.

David Fleisher, Carolyn Jacobs, Carole Roskoph and Sangeeta Doshi won the primary over Progressive Democrats for Cherry Hill candidates Joshua Hare, Patricia Magnus, Mark Gulbranson and Scott Soffen, according to the unofficial results from the Camden County Board of Elections. Fleisher, Jacobs and Roskoph are running for re-election on council, while Doshi is running for her first term.

The four winners will face off against Republican Party nominees Andrew Behrend, John Papeika, Scott Cohen and Joseph Rodi Jr. in November’s Cherry Hill Township Council election. The four Republican nominees ran unopposed in their primary on Tuesday.

Below are the unofficial results of the Democratic primary election according to the Camden County Board of Elections:

Carolyn Jacobs —4,674 (16.78%)

David Fleisher — 4,671 (16.77%)

Carole Roskoph — 4,543(16.31%)

Sangeeta Doshi — 4,460 (16.01%)

Patricia Magnus — 2,524 (9.06%)

Joshua Hare —2,398 (8.61%)

Scott Soffen — 2,345 (8.42%)

Mark Gulbranson — 2,231 (8.01%)
