Palmyra’s junior youth can get hands-on police experience

The Palmyra Police Department is currently accepting applications for Junior Youth Academy, which will run August 7 through August 11.

The Palmyra Police Department is currently accepting applications for Junior Youth Academy, Class #4.The week-long Youth Police Academy runs from August 7 through August 11 and will introduce the Palmyra’s youth to a wide variety of emergency services and law enforcement functions through a hands-on experience.

Applicants must be entering sixth through ninth grade and be a resident of Palmyra or Riverton. Applications and consent forms are available now and can be picked up at the police station on West Broad Street.

The completed application packet must be returned no later than July 7. Anyone with questions regarding the program can call (856)829–0198 or email [email protected].
