On May 19, Mary Ann “Mickey” Spinosi passed away at the age of 84. The Haddonfield resident of more than 60 years was the wife of the late Beni Spinosi as well as the devoted mother of Robert (Donna) Spinosi and Jeanne Spinosi (Craig) Wagner both of Haddonfield. She was also the cherished grandmother of Bill and Andy Spinosi as well as Julie and Amy Wagner.
The family will greet friends on Wednesday, May 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kain-Murphy Funeral Services on West End Road in Haddonfield.
Mary Ann was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in Camden and one of the first graduating classes from Rutgers University’s Camden Campus. She remained a lifelong Rutgers fan, loved watching college football and was an avid Phillies fan.
Maryann enjoyed attending her children’s and grandchildren’s events and was very involved in Haddonfield Little League as well as serving as “Girl Scout Cookie Mom.” Maryann worked at Strawbridge & Clothier, was a dedicated homemaker and a lover of animals. She loved summers at the shore — especially Ocean City, going to the casinos and playing the slots.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in honor of Mary Ann be made to The Voorhees Animal Orphanage at 419 Cooper Road in Voorhees. For more information about donating visit www.VAONJ.org.
