Tree seedlings leftover from Palmyra Day give-away

Residents can pick up free seedlings any time day or night outside the gate of Palmrya’s public works building.

Following Palmyra’s Downtown and Public Safety Day, the New Jersey Tree Recovery Campaign still has free tree seedlings leftover to give to residents. The free tree seedlings are available anytime of the day or night, and residents are encouraged to pick them any of the several species available. The tree seedlings are stored in buckets just outside the gate at public works department on Firth Lane.

Representatives from the New Jersey Tree Recovery Campaign gave away seedlings as a part of Palmyra Day.

The tree seedlings were donated as part of a the New Jersey Tree Recovery Campaign, which helps communities replace trees damaged or destroyed by Superstorm Sandy. The program’s goal is to distribute over 500,000 tree seedlings to New Jersey residents.
