Burlington County has announced that the county is conducting a resurfacing of a 3.4-mile portion of Hainesport-Mt. Laurel Road in Mt. Laurel.
“The project involves pavement milling and overlay of Hainesport-Mt. Laurel Road from Hartford Road in Mt. Laurel Township to Church Road in Evesham Township,” said Bruce Garganio, director of the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders. “The work is expected to take five weeks to complete.”
Traffic will be maintained during milling and paving operation. Motorists using the roadway may experience delay and are recommended to find alternative routes during the work.
The work is being done by American Asphalt Co., Inc., West Collingswood, as part of the county’s 2015 state funded overlay program.
A total 26 miles of roadway in 12 municipalities are being resurfaced through shared state and county funding.
