Making his beauty mark: Accomplished makeup artist makes Moorestown home
Makeup artist Stuart May has worked with Chanel, Estee Lauder, Yves Saint Laurent, Bobbi Brown and even actress and singer Debbie Reynolds, and after 27 years in Las Vegas, he now calls Moorestown home.
May moved to Moorestown with his partner after singing in Las Vegas for more than 25 years, beginning in his early 20s. Approaching 50 and finding his passion for singing was fading, May found a new passion in makeup.
Moorestown Library introduces new programs to celebrate Library Month
April 9–15 is National Library Week, a time to celebrate libraries and their workers and promote library use and support, according to the American Library Association. The theme for 2017 is “Libraries Transform.”
The Moorestown Library is participating by celebrating Library Month throughout April and introducing new programs and activities.

A message from the Moorestown Board of Education
The Board would like to notify the Moorestown community that the preliminary 2017–2018 budget passed unanimously and maintains all requested staffing as well as current curriculum and programs.
It is the Board’s responsibility to review and approve a budget for the next calendar school year. Developing the initial 2017–2018 budget was a collaborative process beginning in the fall.
