The following reports are on file with the Mt. Laurel Police Department:
At 3:13 p.m. on March 29, Mt. Laurel Police responded to the wooded area behind Hope Court for the report of an unconscious male.
According to police, a passerby had located the man passed out in the woods.
P0lice say the arriving officers determined the 18-year-old victim, from Marlton, had overdosed on heroin.
According to police, responding officers then administered Narcan and reversed the overdose.
Police say the man was transported to the hospital for additional treatment.
At 2:23 p.m. on March 30, a female suspect stole six boxes of Red Bull energy drink from the Wawa on Route 73.
A driver reported that at 5:49 p.m. on March 29, she was driving on Academy Drive near Church Road when she came to an abrupt stop in order to avoid hitting a man walking a dog. The man then threw a flashlight and struck the victim’s car breaking the vehicle’s windshield.
Between March 17 and March 29, an 8000-foot roll of copper wire was stolen from the construction site at 2020 Briggs Road.
At 12:38 p.m. on March 24, a suspect stole a Dell laptop computer from PC Richards & Son on Nixon Drive.
At 11:38 a.m. on March 28, a suspect shoplifted $108.36 worth of merchandise from the Wawa on Route 73.
On March 28, Mt. Laurel Police received information that a person reported endangered missing may be staying in a local hotel. Officers located the vehicle belonging to the missing person at a hotel on Route 73. The missing person was located and determined not to be in danger, however, three people in her company were arrested. Dominique A. Leboeuf, age 24, of Nutley, had multiple warrants and was committed to the Burlington County Jail, Jaquelyn A. Ryan, age 27, of Waretown, was arrested and charged with hindering her own apprehension after she provided a false name to officers. She was released pending a court hearing after satisfying an outstanding arrest warrant. Gregory Wanamaker, age 28, of Camden, was also arrested for warrants and released after posting bail.
During the overnight hours of March 27 into March 28, Mt. Laurel Police received four reports of unlocked vehicles being entered on Red Hill Court, one on Oakhurst Lane and one on Millstream Drive. In one case a vehicle key was stolen in the others the vehicles were rummaged through but nothing was reported stolen.
On March 28, Mt. Laurel Police responded to a residence for an extortion report. The 28-year-old male victim reported that he met a woman on-line and had been communicating with her since February. The victim sent a nude video of himself to the woman via Skype. A short time later the woman demanded that the victim pay her $200 or she would make the video public.
At 9:19 p.m. on March 28, Mt. Laurel Police were patrolling at a hotel on the 1100 block of Route 73. Officers investigated suspicious activity in one of the rooms and arrested Dyvine P. Lesley, age 18, of Willingboro. He was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and released pending a court hearing.
On July 24, 2016, Mt. Laurel Police investigated the theft of a tip jar from Coco Keys on Route 73. The investigation identified the suspect as Sharlene I. Talukdar, age 30, of Philadelphia. A warrant for her arrest was issued and on March 24 she turned herself in to Mt. Laurel Police and was committed to the Burlington County Jail.
At 5:07 p.m. on March 26, Mt. Laurel Police responded to Best Buy on Nixon Drive for a suspected credit card fraud in progress. The investigation led to the arrest of Philip Mach, age 59, of Pemberton. The investigation revealed that Mach used fraudulent credit cards on multiple occasions to purchase laptop computers, iPhones, and iTune gift cards at the Mt. Laurel Best Buy. He was found in possession of multiple fraudulent cards at the time of his arrest. He was charged with multiple counts of credit card fraud, identity theft, and trafficking in personal identifying information pertaining to another. Mach was released pending a court hearing.
During the overnight hours of March 25 into March 26, Mt. Laurel Police received four reports of unlocked vehicles being entered in the Holiday Village East Development and one in the Lakes Development. Cash was reported stolen.
On March 25, a female suspect received a facial treatment at Ulta Beauty on Nixon Drive. The suspect left the store without paying for the $30 service.
On March 21, Mt. Laurel Police responded to Costco on Centerton Road for suspected prescription fraud. A pharmacist at Costco reported that they received a written prescription form that appeared to be altered. The investigation revealed that Karenmarie Iero, age 55, of Cinnaminson, obtained or attempted to obtain prescription narcotics on two occasions using fraudulent prescriptions. On March 25, Iero turned herself in to Mt. Laurel Police. She was charged with obtaining a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by fraud, attempting to obtain CDS by fraud, and two counts of forgery. She was released pending a court hearing.
At 3:39 p.m. on March 24, Mt. Laurel Police responded to Target on Centerton Road for a shoplifting report. Officers arrested Ronnie P. Bellamy, age 52, of Willingboro. He was charged with shoplifting $569 worth of merchandise and released pending a court hearing.
At 9:12 a.m. on March 24, Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 73 near Crawford Place. During the stop, officers arrested Gerald M. Stewart, age 28, of Willingboro. He was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and released pending a court hearing.
