The conference will be held on Saturday, April 8 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Eastern Regional High School.
Each year, the Camden County Freeholder Board sponsors the annual Women’s Health Conference. The free event will feature more than 60 workshops scheduled over four workshop sessions, 150 exhibitors and great door prizes.
“Women love attending and often bring friends and family,” said Freeholder Carmen Rodriguez, liaison to the Camden County Department of Health which organizes the event. “Camden County’s Department of Health and Human Services does an excellent job of finding the best experts on a wide variety of topics to present workshops as they plan for a successful day for everyone. It is always a great day of knowledge, fitness and fun. It is a day for women to both educate and enjoy themselves.”
Experts from around the region will lead interactive workshops on health; nutrition and exercise; family; mind, body and spirit; and professional and financial wellness. The day’s activities will also include a health and wellness exhibitor fair, keynote speaker Dr. Generosa Grana, Director of MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper University Health Care, continental breakfast, lunch, giveaways and much more.
“There is something for everyone at this year’s Women’s Health Conference from Latin dancing and developing healthy habits to creating a family budget or starting your own business,” Rodriguez said. “I hope that you will come and join us for a day that will inform you, energize you and leave you healthy and smiling.”
