After much planning and two budget meetings earlier in the year, Medford Town Council introduced the 2017 municipal budget at its meeting last week. This year’s proposed budget totals $20.46 million.

The Shawnee High School boys basketball team earned the title of South Jersey Group IV Champions on Tuesday, March 7. Shawnee defeated Toms River North by a score of 76–72 in triple overtime.

ShopRite of Medford customers may see some familiar faces on Cheerios boxes when they visit the store in March. Pictures of three associates, along with others from 40 winning ShopRites, will appear on the back of limited-edition Cheerios boxes for their work in helping to raise $1.4 million to fight hunger.

Making “Great Decisions” on World Affairs at Medford Leas

For eight Thursday mornings at 10:30 a.m., beginning on March 9, the Medford Leas Residents Association will highlight thought-provoking foreign policy challenges facing Americans today by showing a video of experts being interviewed, followed by a moderated discussion.
