Damm was born in Jamaica Queens, N.Y. She was a graduate of Fairley Dickinson College with a bachelor’s degree in English.

Widely considered one of the nation’s preeminent experts in the temporary staffing industry, Damm’s rise to prominence began in 1978 with a tiny office in Cherry Hill. Throughout her career, Damm has been honored with countless awards for her role as an innovator, lecturer and successful businesswoman. She has served the regional business community as chairman — Board of Directors, Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia; board member — Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center and Our Lady of Lourdes Foundation; member — Advisory Board and Foundation Board, Rutgers University School of Business, Camden; panelist — Rutgers quarterly economic Outlook panel; member — Women’s Business Enterprise National Council; and member — Board of Directors, Cherry Hill Chamber of Commerce.
