Learn about infamous Sunday school teacher Lizzie Borden, when living history re-enactor Kate Butler presents, “The Bizarre Case of Lizzie Borden” on Wednesday, March 8 at 7 p.m. Hear this fascinating story from Lizzie’s point of view.
On Wednesday, March 22, at 7 p.m., Kate Butler returns to the library; this time as Mary Mallon, also known as Typhoid Mary, in “Typhoid Mary: Dinner is Served.” Butler will tell the story of this young Irish immigrant who worked as a cook for several wealthy families and left suffering and death in her wake.
