Police say the search began after an Evesham officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 73 by Dutch Road on Feb. 14 at 3 a.m.

On Feb. 14 at 3 a.m., police say an Evesham officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 73 by Dutch Road.
During the investigation, Evesham Police K-9 EZ was called upon to assist officers with the detection of narcotics. The K-9 was walked around the exterior of the suspect’s vehicle, at which time police say she alerted officers to the presence of narcotics inside the car.
A subsequent search of the vehicle by officers resulted in the discovery of crystal meth, marijuana and prohibited weapons (stun gun and knife) inside the vehicle.
Arrested:
Gabriel Angelo, age 22, of Vineland, was charged with third-degree possession of methamphetamines, third-degree possession of prohibited weapons, a disorderly persons offense for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and DUI. He was released on his own recognizance.
