The Mt. Laure AARP Chapter is holding a meeting on Thursday, March 2, at 1 p.m in the Mt. Laurel Community Center, 100 Mt. Laurel Road and Walt Whitman Avenue.
Saul Broudy, guitarist and singer, will entertain attendees with American Occupational Folksongs. Those who attend can hear the songs of workers from the past and present.
During the meeting donations of non-perishable food will also be accepted for the Women’s Opportunity Center to help refill their pantry.
Everyone is welcome to join this event. Those who attend can bring a friend or attend this first meeting as the chapter’s guest.
