Berlin Police respond to home invasion

The home invasion occurred on Jan. 7 at Franklin Avenue.

The following information comes from the Berlin Police Department:

On Jan. 7 at approximately 8 p.m., Berlin Police responded to Franklin Avenue for the report of a home invasion and armed robbery. Three males wearing masks forced their way into a residence brandishing handguns. They held the residents against their will and proceeded to take cash from the residence. They then fled the area on foot prior to police arrival.

A nearby resident reported possibly seeing a gray sedan in the area, but could not confirm this information.
