Evesham’s holiday wishes program will soon be open once again, there’s plenty of fun holiday events coming up for area residents, and some of Marlton’s youngest learned about being thankful on Thanksgiving. Catch up on the week that was in the Weekly Roundup:

Evesham School District’s Teddy Bear Academy daycare learns about being thankful

Students in the Evesham Township School District’s Teddy Bear Academy daycare recently learned about being thankful this Thanksgiving Holiday. Students and their families recently collected food for a local pantry, and the kids are also set to present letters and cards to some local first responders.

Evesham Holiday Wishes looks to collect gifts for local children who need them most

As the holidays quickly approach, those in Evesham will once again have the chance to help grant some wishes for the township’s youngest residents. This year’s Evesham Holiday Wishes program will accept donations from Dec. 1 until Dec. 16.

Rabbi Nathan Weiner will be installed as Congregation Beth Tikvah’s rabbi on Dec. 4

Newly ordained Rabbi Nathan Weiner will be installed as Congregation Beth Tikvah’s (Beth Tikvah) rabbi on Sunday, Dec. 4. Weiner graduated from the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College (RRC) in June and shortly thereafter took the baton from Rabbi Gary Gans, who had been Beth Tikvah’s first full-time rabbi for over 30 years.

Cherokee High School’s fall play ‘A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum’ opened this week

Cherokee High School’s annual fall show is here with “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.” “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” originally ran on Broadway in 1962 and won several Tony awards, including best musical. Additional shows at Cherokee will run on the following week on Dec. 2 and Dec. 3 at 7 p.m.

Burlington County will host its annual Victorian Holiday Celebration at Smithville Park on Dec. 4

Freeholder Director Bruce Garganio has announced that the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders will once again be hosting the annual Victorian Holiday Celebration at Historic Smithville Park on Dec. 4. Locals can shop from local vendors, enjoy a carriage ride and visit with Santa and friends at historic Smithville Park in Eastampton.
