Seneca High School student hosts haunted walk

Halloween is the time of year to get a little fun fright from things that go bump in the night.

Right here in the town of Tabernacle, a young Tabernacle resident has created his own haunted walk, and is helping local families in need along the way.

Seneca High School freshman Luke Harris has created a haunted walk, which he has been doing since he was in 6th grade. Over the years, many people have come to experience the creepy fun and Harris would love to have more. All Harris asks is for each person who comes to bring a non-perishable food item, which he donates to a Tabernacle food pantry.

If you’re interested in experiencing the haunted walkthrough, the haunted trail is open Oct. 26, 28, 29 and 30. The times are 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and the trail is located at 60 Red Oak Drive in Tabernacle.

If you’d like to come through the walk, you may contact the Harris family in advance, but it is not necessary. Email any questions to [email protected].

Come enjoy the spooky spirit of Halloween, but also the spirit of giving.
