Annual Halloween Bash set for Friday, Oct. 21 at PAWS Farm in Mt. Laurel

The event will take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. and feature crafts, games, prizes, a haunted house and a spooky maze.

Halloween is on its way, and once again Mt. Laurel Township’s PAWS Farm Nature Center is offering its own Halloween fun with a “Halloween Bash” on Friday, Oct. 21.

From 6 to 8:30 p.m., families are invited to PAWS Farm to see the center transformed for some “spooky” fun.

According to Jerry Mascia, Mt. Laurel Township director of municipal services, last year’s event attracted about 200 kids, and with parents and families, the event had close to about 500 guests in total.

“With the families it’s quite a big turnout, and it’s getting bigger every year,” Mascia said.

During the event the center and some of its grounds will be decorated in a Halloween theme, and PAWS Farm staff and volunteers will lead kids and families through a haunted house and spooky maze.

The event will also feature prizes, Halloween crafts and other fun games.

Families looking to attend the event can visit www.pawsfarm.com to find a pre-event registration form.

Those families who pre-register their children will receive a discounted admission price of $10 per participant.

The normal price per participant for those who don’t register before the event is $15. Accompanying adults are free.

Kids are also asked to remember to bring a flashlight and goody bag for the event.
